Nikki de Graaf researches in Cry Wolf how a young woman would go out and about on her own in our society. The classic fairy tales, that we all know, often give us a moral message and have a 'happily ever after'. Most fairytales however have a gruesome origin and are far from a bed-time story.

In what way is the moral of the story still relevant today? Does this create fear that is rather unnecessary?

Cry Wolf is a dance-theatre performance with a constant change of perspective and intention. A Fairy-Tale transformed to a everyday story, where the thin line between innocence and threat is explored. An exciting performance with a mixture of powerful dance, theatre, humor and live music.
